Philippines Still One of the Best Countries in the World: Condé Nast Traveler

Despite the travel restrictions brought about by the pandemic, people from all around the world still voted for the Philippines as one of the best countries in the world. The latest Readers’ Choice Awards 2021 of Condé Nast revealed that the country remains one of the perennial favorites.

The Philippines ranked 20th in Condé Nast Traveler’s list of Top Countries in the World with an astounding score of 91.63. This is based on the feedback gathered from an implemented survey among 800,000 of its readers around the world – based on their recent travel experience.

Particularly, Condé Nast Traveler’s readers identified – among the 7,641 islands of the Philippines – Palawan and Siargao as some of the best islands to visit. With the country’s unique combination of unspoiled white sand beaches, translucent blue waters, world-class surf breaks, lush-green mountains, and UNESCO world heritage sites, there are surely more reasons for local and foreign tourists to visit the country once everything settles through this pandemic.

The Department of Tourism hopes that this recognition will help the country’s tourism industry and their latest global campaign “More Fun Awaits” as it slowly reopens to international travel.
