A gajillion wows! Truly, the beauty of a Filipina is as captivating as the golden sunshine in the early morn filling the world with all the love and life. No wonder many countries have recently banned true blue Pinays from competing in a global beauty pageants.


No kidding. Just recently, news broke out fromBangkok, Thailand. Right after the fourth-place finish of Annalie Forbes, the Philippines’ representative to the Miss Grand International Beauty Pageant in 2013. The details reveal the Association of Beauty Pageant Franchise Holders (ABPFH) has banned the Philippines from future international beauty competitions, citing “enormous advantage” by Filipina candidates in practically all pageants this year. Talk about unfair treatment. But we simply can’t help it, if in the design of God Almighty, He has sprinkled a lot more beauty dusts in the Philippines than in the world. Just a theory, though so don’t quote me.

Asked about what to buy if given a million dollars, she answered candidly:”A house and lot because it’s the most expensive thing and I can’t afford it. If I had a million bucks, I’d buy a house a lot and live by myself, and other people, of course.”

She was 19.
